Wintrade Police

About the win-trade probability and disclaimer

Each match with full match data gets an estimated probability that it was a win trade, based on how the opposing team played during the match.

How to read it. Win trading is impossible to avoid completely, so teams will always show up on this list. A few probable trades doesn't mean a team is win trading. But if a team's Share of Matches is 20% or higher, it is very likely win trading.

Disclaimer. The percentages are automated estimates, not proof. They measure how closely a match resembles ones that were judged to be win trades. They do not show who arranged a match, and a disconnect, a no-show or an AFK player can look identical to a trade. Being on a team's roster does not mean a player took part in any trading. Use this as a starting point for your own review before reporting anyone, and do not treat a percentage as a verdict.

Why Wintrade Police exists

For the past 10 years, many teams on Warmane have used win trading to climb the ladder and collect rewards they don't deserve. People who do this are destroying the PvP community on Warmane, and it has been a topic for many years.

Game Masters don't check all the ladder games, and many teams slip through. There is also a theory that many of the top rated teams are protected from bans by Game Masters. This is the so-called "Mafia".

So why "Mafia"?

Many "top" players sell the top 5 ladder spots for achievements. It costs about 300 Euros to have them "pilot" your account to that rating. Piloting means you send them your account details, and they log in and play the whole season for you. Any kind or form of boosting is against the ToS.

Now it's finally time to give Game Masters full insight into win trading games, and we'll cross our fingers that people get banned.

And to the Game Masters holding your hand over a corrupt system: f*** you. Get fired.
